Bonjour! I'm so excited to be at the AATF Convvention in Trois-Rivières!
A bit about the professional me...
- I'm the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers 2023 Teacher of the Year
- I'm a Routledge Eye on Education author. My first book "The Ultimate Guide to Selling Your Original World Language Resources" came out in 2021. My second book, "Going Global in the World Language Classroom: Ideas, Strategies, and Resources for Teaching and Learning With the World" comes out in September.
- I teach French 1-IB French 5, including concurrent enrollment, and AP Art History (I'm dual-certified) in northern Colorado.
- I'm a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).
- I just wrapped up a great consulting gig with Great Minds Virtual.
- I do professional writing (mainly for small businesses) and guest blogging on the side.
A bit about the personal me...
- I'm obsessed with rock music! (*GOOD* rock music.)
- I'm addicted to travel! 27 countries/territories and counting!
- I'm proudly on #TeamOxfordComma
- I believe in service! I have a long history with Big Brothers Big Sisters (MN and CO), and finished up my time on the associate board last December. I currently am a board member for the Abundant Yoga Community, a nonprofit in the St. Croix Valley of western WI and eastern MN.
